MECDHH/GBSD is partnering with The Ecology School to offer a unique and fully immersive overnight experience for students with developmental disabilities (DHH) in grades 4 to 8. Our school group will participate in lessons centered around ecosystems, learn about food systems, and explore natural resources available in the outdoors. The experience emphasizes four key themes: building community, engaged student citizens, collaborative living, and experiential learning.
The target audience for this experience is DHH students in grades 4 to 8. The event will take place from November 3rd to 5th at The Ecology School in Saco, Maine.
Please note that space is limited, so the deadline for registration is October 26th.
