Taxes 101 for Self-Employed ASL Interpreters – 

Charles Sterling has an MBA in Finance and a BS in Business Management from Rochester Institute of Technology. He has worked as a tax preparer, accountant, investment advisor, bookkeeper, business consultant, and financial planner since 2008.

The focus is on taxes for interpreters. The workshop will explain important tax information for interpreters to be aware of, tax deductions to claim, whether to set up an LLC, different kinds of retirement plans, employee vs. contractor status, mistakes to avoid, and determining tax withholding on income.

This Professional Studies program is offered for 0.2 CEUs at the little/none Content Knowledge Level.”

COST: $25 for MeAD members — $35 for non-members
