ASL Self-Defense Empowerment Class (for women, nonbinary, and genderfluid-identifying individuals)

A Self-Defense Empowerment class taught by Prevention Action Change. It is a healing, empowering class that focuses on raising awareness and verbal and physical skills to prevent, interrupt, respond to, and heal from harassment, abuse, and assault.
USM ASL Students: Free
Deaf/ASL-fluent hearing people (Deaf people given first priority): $17
Access: This event is led by a hearing non-signing instructor. However, there will be interpreters for the instructor, and all attendees are asked to remain in ASL for the event.
