Friday, June 21:
• 5-6 p.m. – Registration and Socialization – food provided
• 6-8 p.m. – Disaster Response (local, state, national)
• 8-9 p.m. – ProQOL (Professional Quality of Life)

Saturday, June 22:
• 8:30 a.m. – 9 a.m. Light Breakfast (food provided)
• 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. Panel introductions, weekend expectations
• 10 a.m. – 1p.m. Trauma, Grief, and Coping
• 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Lunch (food provided)
• 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. Focus Groups

Sunday, June 23:
• 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. Spiritual coping
• 8:30 a.m. – 9 a.m. Light Breakfast (food provided) • 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Healing Activity

This general studies program is offered for 1.2 CEUs at the some content knowledge level. The event’s goal is to identify and understand the impact of trauma on the interpreter, the interpreting community, and the work performed. At the end of the event, participants will be able to identify trauma and vicarious trauma, understand the process of grief, and develop tools for self-care and resiliency. The event is committed to promoting mutual respect and safety. It does not discriminate based on hearing status, age, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or other intersecting factors.
