Deaf Identity: A Morpheyes Docuseries Presentation & Panel Discussion

Hosted by Maine Behavioral Healthcare & Maine Association of Deaf.

You are invited to a FREE hybrid documentary screening and community discussion hosted by Maine Behavioral Healthcare and the Maine Association of the Deaf. The event will feature the first episode of Morpheyes Studio’s docuseries “Deaf and…” titled Deaf Identity, followed by a panel discussion with members of the Maine Deaf & Hard of Hearing community. This event will provide ASL interpreters.

“Join Maine Behavioral Healthcare and Maine Association of the Deaf for an evening of conversation as we view the first episode of Morpheyes Studio’s docuseries “Deaf and…” titled Deaf Identity (view trailer). Deaf Identity showcases the many ways of being Deaf and how embracing our different journeys make us stronger as a community. Following the film, a panel of experts will share their insights on Deaf identity and how it impacts the community, families, and caregivers.
