5th Annual Virtual Deaf Culture Panel

We started with the Deaf Culture Panel during the pandemic lockdown. We did BIPOC, Asian/Pacific Islanders, Transgender, and Black Deaf panels. This year’s theme is DeafBlind. This panel aims to spread awareness of diversity within the Deaf community.

Introducing our DeafBlind panelists: Diane Poulin, Korian “KoKo” Thomas, Ona Stweart, and Ryan Odland. Our facilitator is Emily Blachly.

Our DB panelists will share their experiences as DeafBlind individuals. Every journey is different, but we are all in the same community. During the last 30 minutes, the audience will have an opportunity to ask questions.
