MeAD is registered with CLYNK to Give — Maine’s bottle and can redemption program that lets you donate your returns directly to the nonprofit of your choice. It takes just a few minutes to set up, and every bag you drop off puts money in MeAD’s pocket without costing you a cent beyond what you were already returning.

Here’s how to do it.

Option 1: Donate Your CLYNK Account Balance Online

If you already have a CLYNK account, you can transfer funds directly to MeAD in minutes.

1. Log in to your CLYNK account at clynk.com
2. Click the “Donations” tab in the menu
3. Under “Donate Part or All of Your Balance,” type “Maine Association of the Deaf” in the search bar
4. Click our name when it appears
5. Click the green “Choose Amount” button
6. Enter how much you’d like to donate and click “Continue”
7. Confirm the amount — and you’re done!

Your donation goes directly to MeAD. No fees. No middleman.

Option 2: Use MeAD-Tagged CLYNK Bags

MeAD has account-specific bag tags. When you fill your tagged MeAD CLYNK bag and drop it off at any CLYNK location, the proceeds go directly to us. Contact us to get our tags.

Where to Drop Off CLYNK Bags

CLYNK drop-off stations are located at Hannaford Supermarkets across Maine. Find your nearest location at clynk.com/locations.

Just fill your green CLYNK bag, attach your bag tag, scan it at the drop-off station, and drop it in. Your account is credited within 24–48 hours — and if you’ve set up donations to MeAD, those funds come straight to us.
